Back to school is a hectic time for families, but there are ways to help get the chaos under control. Here are our 5 of our favorite back to school apps to help parents get back in the swing of things.


Cabin App Icon

Voted one of the “Best apps for families” in 2013 by Google Play, the Cabin app is like a private social network for your family. One of our favorite features is the  messaging capability that lets you chat with individuals or the whole group and share text, photos, videos, etc.  A GPS tracker keeps you up to date on everyone’s location and even lets you can also send alerts letting dad know you’re running late. There’s also a “family compass” that shows where others are in relation to you. Users can create to-do lists, schedule events and set reminders in the app and assign owners, making it a great tool for tracking chores and extracurricular activities.
