This plan covers your favorite home streaming devices like TVs, laptops, tablets, gaming consoles and more in the event of:
Normal wear and tear
Power surges
Accidental damage from handling (ADH), such as drops, spills, and cracked screens for eligible devices.
Mechanical or electrical failures as a result of defects in materials and workmanship
Asurion Care for streaming devices with mobile
This plan covers your favorite home streaming devices—like TVs, laptops, tablets, gaming consoles, and more—plus your phone in the event of:
Normal wear and tear
Power surges
Accidental damage from handling (ADH), such as drops, spills, and cracked screens for eligible devices.

Streaming devices
No, you don’t need to register devices other than mobile phones—but it helps. Registering makes claims easier, speeds up approvals, and gives you faster access to expert help.
Phones
Yes, you need to register your phone to be covered if you are enrolled in the mobile device plan. To register your phone or other device, click here.
Plan coverage remains in effect throughout the duration of your term, unless canceled. In the event your product is being serviced by an authorized service center when this Plan expires, the term of this Plan will be extended until the covered repair has been completed.
You may start a claim anytime after Day 31 of coverage. For those with a mobile plan, coverage for phones doesn’t begin until after you’ve registered the mobile device. Pre-existing conditions and breakdowns that occur before Day 31 are not covered.
If you lost the return envelope or your replacement device did not include a return envelope, please call us at 866-856-3879.

Yep, that’s the best part! We know tech comes and goes, that’s why we made it so you can always adjust your coverage whenever you need to. Coverage starts 30 days after adding or swapping in a new phone. (Unless it's a replacement we've provided—those will automatically be covered by your plan.)
Sorry, no. Any pre-existing damaged devices are not covered under the plan prior to enrollment. If you need a repair on a device that was damaged prior to enrollment or that is not covered under the Asurion Care for streaming devices plan, our stores can assist you with a repair. Feel free to schedule a service online or visit one of our 700+ stores. Please see the Terms and Conditions for complete program details.

Your coverage limit, or maximum for protection events, is $5,000 in coverage every 12 months.
Asurion Care for streaming devices with mobile
Your coverage limit, or maximum for protection events, is $7,000 in coverage every 12 months. This limit increases by $2,000 every 12 months for each additional phone added.
If required, you'll need to ship us your original device. We’ll send a prepaid shipping envelope with your replacement.
An Asurion Care plan (also referred to as a service contract) provides coverage for phones and home tech above and beyond the terms and life of a manufacturer’s warranty depending on the device purchased. When a covered device breaks or stops working, we'll repair, replace, or reimburse you for your device.
When a device breaks or stops working, you can start a claim online or by calling 866-856-3879. Simply tell us what's wrong and, after your claim is approved, we'll repair, replace, or reimburse your covered device. Your options will be based on eligibility, and if your claim is approved, a service fee plus tax may apply.
You can cancel your Asurion Care for streaming devices plan at any time by calling 866-856-3879. You’ll receive a prorated refund of your monthly fee upon canceling. Plan will continue monthly until canceled. Note: You have 30 days after cancellation to file a claim.
