Three launches new approach to cover with Three Rescue
Three enters partnership with award-winning technology protection company Asurion
Three has launched a mobile protection product with a new partner and a new approach focused on comprehensive cover and customer experience.
Three Rescue™ has been developed in partnership with technology protection specialist Asurion, which sets itself apart from traditional mobile insurance through the breadth of cover, speed of resolution and focus on restoring a customer’s ‘mobile life’.
Three Rescue uses cloud technology to help restore treasured content to a replacement device and delivers that device to the consumer within 24 hours.1
Head of internet services at Three, Margie Waltasaari said: “Mobile phone insurance has a poor reputation due to slow processes, widespread cover exemptions and low service levels. We believe Three Rescue will address that through a combination of great service and the extra steps we take to help our customers to get their mobile lives back. Three Rescue is a great complement to our new price plans as we continue to offer our customers more freedom and control.”
Three Rescue covers a range of loss and damage scenarios often exempt from mobile phone insurance, including pet and accidental toilet damage.

 Same model, next-day replacement if your claim is accepted before 6pm Sunday-Friday. Customers must pay an excess on successful claims.  £20 extra charge for delivery abroad and any customs fees which may be incurred.  App available on iPhones operating iOS 7 and above or Android smartphones operating system 4.0 and above. Backup of photos and videos is subject to a 2GB limit. App features may not be compatible with all devices, for example iPhones cannot be remotely locked.
