Asurion’s Support and Protection Service Named 2015 CES Innovation Awards Honoree for Software and Mobile Apps
New service offering integrates personalized tech assistance with digital protection to help small and medium-sized carriers and retailers improve user’s mobile experience
Asurion announced today that its Soluto™ support and digital protection service is a 2015 CES Innovation Awards Honoree in the Software and Mobile apps category. Products entered in this awards program are judged by a panel of independent engineers, members of the trade media and other industry experts to recognize innovation in the world of consumer electronics.
Honorees of this award demonstrated innovative design and engineering in some of the most cutting edge tech products and services coming to the market. Asurion’s entry was evaluated on the following criteria:

The innovative service, available to small and medium-sized carriers and retailers, integrates personalized support with digital protection by combining one-click access to reach live tech advisors whose performance is evaluated by customer satisfaction and problem resolution rates rather than by average handle time and how quickly they move-on to the next customer. The service also offers proactive alerts identifying potential issues that may affect a customer’s device performance if left unchecked, along with easy-to-understand preventative actions; personalized tips and tricks for getting the most benefit from different mobile devices and apps; and software that secures the phone’s digital content against unauthorized access by individuals and unintended sharing with third-party applications.
