NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Nov. 6, 2025 — uBreakiFix by Asurion’s commitment to repair excellence was on full display at Samsung’s National Skills and Repair Competition last month, where Repair Technician Andrew Coleman of uBreakiFix Fredericksburg earned first place in the Mobile Experience (MX) category.
The annual event brings together leading Samsung-certified repair technicians from across the country to showcase their expertise, underscoring Samsung’s commitment to customer care and celebrating technical mastery among its repair partners.
The MX Repair Competition tested technicians through a written exam on repair standards, troubleshooting, and customer service. Those who scored among the top 15 were invited to Samsung’s Plano, Texas headquarters for a live repair challenge evaluating speed, accuracy, and quality as they diagnosed, repaired, and reassembled Galaxy devices under time pressure.
uBreakiFix has served as an authorized repair provider for Samsung since 2018 and has participated in the competition for the past five years. This year, the company had five technicians qualify for the final showcase. Coleman’s win — the company’s second overall — follows his third-place finish in last year’s event.
“We’re thrilled to see Andrew recognized for his commitment to delivering an exceptional repair experience to customers,” said Tripp Grant, uBreakiFix Senior Director of Partnerships. “Nailing the technical side of repair is essential, of course — but equally important is ensuring customers feel cared for from the moment they walk in our doors. Andrew, like so many uBreakiFix technicians, excels at both. We’re proud to have him represent us at this event and in-store at uBreakiFix Fredericksburg.”
Coleman’s victory highlights what uBreakiFix teams across the country strive for every day: fast, reliable repairs backed by genuine care for the customer.
