- Wait a few seconds, then tap again to turn it back on.
Clear Bluetooth cache
Corrupted Bluetooth data can lead to connection problems.
- Go to Settings > Apps > See all apps.
- Tap the three-dot menu and choose Show system.
- Scroll down and tap Bluetooth > Storage & cache.
- Tap Clear cache, then restart your phone.
Update your software
Make sure both your Pixel phone and your Bluetooth device are running the latest software. Go to Settings > System > System update and install any available updates.
Try Safe Mode
Safe Mode disables third-party apps that might be interfering with Bluetooth.
- Press and hold the Power button.
- Touch and hold Power off, then tap OK to boot into Safe Mode.
- Try connecting your Bluetooth device again.
If it works in Safe Mode, the issue may be caused by an app you’ve installed. Restart your phone to exit Safe Mode and consider removing any recent apps.
