Smartphones and feature phones from many major brands available in the U.S. (Apple, Google, Samsung, and more) are eligible for enrollment if they are in good working order and have an active cellular connection. Devices with preexisting damage, no matter the brand, are ineligible to enroll for coverage.

The majority of replacement devices are delivered the next business day if approved before 3pm CT, Monday through Friday.

After your enrollment is accepted, there is no waiting period before starting a claim. However, damage or issues experienced before enrollment are not eligible for coverage.

Repairs for damage, plus repairs for mechanical and electrical failure, are subject to parts, store, and technician availability. If a repair isn’t available, the device will be replaced with next day shipping standard.

Coverage is optional and you may cancel at any time without penalty (re-enrollment restrictions may apply) and receive a prorated refund of your monthly charge. We may cancel or change terms by giving you prior written notice as stated in the Terms and Conditions or as required by law. If you have questions, call Asurion Customer Care at 844-751-4217.

Monthly charge: $12.99 All applicable taxes and surcharges extra.⁵ This contract continues to renew monthly until canceled by you or us.

Deductibles: A nonrefundable deductible or service fee is due when your claim is approved.

All damage/malfunction repair: $29 each time

Device claim maximum: $3,500 Your device claim maximum applies to each claim.

Max number of insurance claims in 12 months: You can file up to 3 claims every 12 months.

Claims may be fulfilled with new, refurbished, or remanufactured device and may be the same model or another model of like kind and quality. Replacement device may contain original or non-original replacement parts. Colors, features, and accessory compatibility are not guaranteed. Your terms and conditions include a binding individual arbitration provision unless state exceptions apply. Deductibles vary by device. If your carrier changes, you may no longer be eligible for coverage. If your device changes, we may require you to verify the new device by providing your IMEI, a test call/SMS, downloading an application, or bringing in the device for inspection. We will replace your phone with a refurbished or remanufactured device that has equal or similar features and functionality and performs to the factory specifications of the original covered product.

A deductible or service fee is required to complete a claim. Typically, multiple payment types are available.

This plan includes insurance and a service contract, providing coverage for loss, damage, theft, and cracked screens—from day one. However, if your phone still has an active manufacturer’s warranty for mechanical and electrical malfunction, that warranty will stay active until it has expired. Once that manufacturer’s warranty expires, this plan takes over and provides coverage per the terms and conditions of the service contract. That means your protection coverage is uninterrupted, giving you peace of mind.
