Asurion Donates $100,000 to Nashville Tornado Relief

Nashville-based tech care company Asurion today announced that it is donating $100,000 to the American Red Cross of Tennessee to directly support communities impacted by the tornadoes in Middle Tennessee earlier last week. The funds will go towards providing both immediate and long-term support to families that have been affected by the tornadoes.

“This past week has been devastating for our city, but together we are Nashville Strong and we’ll help support our neighbors through this challenging time,” said Rick Martin, head of Compassion Forward, Asurion’s non-profit fund that provides financial support throughout the community. “We hope others will continue to support ongoing relief efforts to help families and the community recover.”

“The Red Cross continues to provide shelter and support to those affected by the tornados. We thank Asurion for their generous donation, which aids us in providing critical support during times of need as we’re experiencing this week,” said Joel Sullivan, Red Cross Regional Chief Executive Officer - Tennessee Region.

Through Compassion Forward, Asurion is also assisting its Nashville employees who have been impacted by last week’s tornados.
