Asurion Named to Forbes Best Employer for Diversity List
Global tech care company honored for performance across general diversity, gender, ethnicity, LGBTQ+, age and disability
Asurion, the global leader in helping people unlock the potential of technology, announced today it was recognized by Forbes as a Best Employer for Diversity in 2020.
Forbes Best Employer for Diversity award factors in a company’s performance across several categories including General Diversity, Gender, Ethnicity, LGBTQ+, Age and Disability. In the third annual list, Asurion is one of just three Nashville-based employers and one of ten Tennessee-based employers that are ranked. It joins 500 businesses nationwide that also were given this recognition.
The Forbes Best Employers for Diversity 2020 award is the latest of many awards recognizing Asurion’s culture and workplace. Asurion earned top marks in the 2020 Human Rights Campaign (HRC) Foundation’s Corporate Equality Index; has been certified A Great Place to Work® for the last three consecutive years; and was recognized as a Best Place to Work in IT by Computerworld in 2019.

The Forbes Best Employers for Diversity 2020 were identified in an independent survey from a vast sample of more than 60,000 U.S. employees working for companies employing at least 1,000 people in their U.S.-operations.
