Asurion Receives Top Honors

Nashville Technology Council Awards

Global technology solutions company Asurion was honored with three tech awards – including Tech Company of the Year – by the Nashville Technology Council (NTC).

The NTC Awards also recognized Nashville-based Asurion with the Diversity Game Changer of the Year award for its continued commitment to promoting diversity and inclusion in technology. Asurion Chief Analytics Officer Faker Zouaoui also received the NTC Award for Data Scientist of the Year.

The awards reflect the Company’s dedication to its employees and to Nashville, said Asurion Chief Operating Officer and NTC Executive Committee Chairman Barry Vandevier.

“These awards are a tribute to our innovative employees who make Asurion a global technology leader and great place to work,” Vandevier said. “We have grown up with Nashville, harnessing the talents of the city’s expanding workforce to continue to grow and innovate within the global tech industry – and in turn we’ve helped the city grow.”

The NTC awards are dedicated to connecting, uniting, developing and promoting Middle Tennessee’s rich community of developers and technology entrepreneurs, enthusiasts and institutions.
