iOS® 18 brings many new features, including enhanced vocal shortcuts that work seamlessly with your customized Siri wake word. Here's how to set it up:
- Open Settings > Accessibility > Vocal Shortcuts.
- Tap Set Up Vocal Shortcuts > Continue to access the new vocal shortcuts feature.
- Tap Siri, type the word that you want to be your new wake word, then tap Go.
- You’ll be prompted to say the word three times so that your phone can recognize it.
- Use your new wake word followed by a question or command to see whether your phone reacts correctly. If needed, go back and refine your wake word recordings.
