How to find and open the Passwords app

  1. Open the Passwords app from your Home Screen or App Library.
  2. Sign in with Face ID®, Touch ID®, or your passcode.

How to view or copy a saved password

  1. Open the Passwords app.
  2. Tap a login from the list.
  3. Choose Copy password, Copy username, or tap the field to view the info.

How to add a new password

  1. In the Passwords app, tap the + button in the top-right corner.
  2. Enter the website name, username, and password.
  3. Tap Done.

How to share a password securely

  1. Open a saved password.
  2. Tap the Share button.
  3. Choose the contact or device you want to share it with.
  4. Confirm with Face ID or your passcode.

You can also create a Shared Group:

  • Tap + New Group in the Passwords app.
  • Name the group and add members.
  • Assign passwords for the group to use.

How to turn on password alerts

  1. Open the Passwords app.
  2. Tap Security.
  3. Follow prompts to review and update compromised passwords.

How to manage two-factor codes

  1. In the Passwords app, select the account.
  2. Tap Set Up Verification Code and follow the prompts.
  3. You can also go to Settings > General > AutoFill & Passwords, then turn on Delete After Use for one-time codes.
