Backing up your phone keeps your photos, contacts, and files safe if your device is lost, stolen, or replaced. Verizon makes this easy with Verizon Cloud, a service that securely stores your content online so you can access it anytime.
What is Verizon Cloud?
Verizon Cloud is a storage service that lets you back up and sync:
- Photos and videos
- Contacts
- Music
- Documents
- Messages (on some devices)
Your content is stored securely online and can be accessed through the app, My Verizon, or a web browser.
How to set up Verizon Cloud
- Download the Verizon Cloud app.
- Sign in with your Verizon account.
- Choose your content types.
- Tap Back Up Now.
How to restore from Verizon Cloud
- Download the Verizon Cloud app.
- Sign in with your Verizon account.
- Select the content you want to restore.
- Tap Restore.
Verizon Cloud storage options
Verizon Cloud offers different storage plans based on how much space you need. You can choose from:
- Free storage. Many plans include a limited amount of Verizon Cloud storage.
- Paid upgrades. If you need more space, you can purchase additional storage through My Verizon.
