Asurion Expands Relationship with Shopko

The collaboration has grown to now provide protection on outdoor living and sporting goods purchases.

Just in time for spring, Asurion now helps Shopko customers protect their outdoor living and sporting good purchases come rain or shine. Outdoor living and sporting good products eligible for Asurion Protection Plans at Shopko include outdoor patio and dining sets, handheld power tools, gas grills, exercise equipment, fishing reels and rods, tents and more.

Under the expanded collaboration, Shopko customers who purchase a protection plan for eligible portable electronics will also now be covered for accidental damage from handling, including drops, spills, and cracked screens.

Asurion Protection Plan coverage includes protection from mechanical and electrical breakdowns; failures due to drops, spills and cracked screens on eligible portable products; breakdowns including those due to normal wear and tear; damage due to dust, heat and humidity; and power surges1. It also covers pick-up and delivery for repairs, and hassle-free in-home service or pre-paid shipping for repairs on eligible products. There are no deductibles and no additional out-of pocket repair costs to the customer, including no service fees.
