Why do I have to pay a deductible if I file a claim for my phone?
Asurion, like most insurance programs, requires that you pay a deductible at the time a claim is filed. We try to keep our deductible amount as affordable as possible. Please note that in most cases, the deductible is far less than the full retail price that you would pay for a new smartphone outside of contract renewal.
