How Asurion uses games to improve employee training

Our new hires go through extensive training in order to obtain the coveted title of tech expert (aka the friendly, all-knowing person that lives in the Soluto App). Like the technology itself, training opportunities at Asurion are constantly evolving to meet the interests and learning preferences of the emerging workforce.
Recently, Asurion leveraged employees’ passion for gaming by setting up an “escape game” in its Innovation Lab. But instead of trying to outsmart a serial killer, participants are tasked with collaborating to solve a handful of tech-related questions in under 30 minutes.
In fact, our Las Vegas team was just profiled by KTNV Action News for using this out-of-the-box approach to training.
